Live performance and Recording

I’m the house guitarist every summer for the Festival of Arts / Pageant of the Masters orchestra and record/perform throughout the year with various other projects.

My recording studio is setup to record high quality guitar tracks using multiple instruments.

Using an Apollo x8p interface, electric guitar tracks can be recorded direct for maximum sound choice in mixing, or through an LA sound design board into a Divided by 13 RSA 23 amp, a Royer 121 and/or SM57. For acoustic instruments, I use a Neumann U67 (1992 Reissue, considered the best of the best of Neumanns) through an Empirical Labs EL9 channel strip, an ultra high end preamp and compressor.

Below is a list of my instruments available for use live and in the studio.

Electric Instruments: Fender Strat (74 hardtail and custom shop), Nash S-63 strat and T-52 tele, Gibson Les Paul, Suhr classic HSS, Ibanez J Custom, Charvel super strat, Hollowbody/Archtop, bottleneck/slide, 335 (with 70s T top pickups), 12 string, baby sitar, 4 string Fender bass

Acoustic Instruments: Martin D-18 and Taylor 814CE 6 steel string acoustic, 12 string acoustic, Romero Nylon classical, 6 string banjo, 5 string banjo, requinto, balalaika, German Vasquez Rubio Tres Cubano
