Private Guitar & Bass Lessons in West Adams

Private, one-on-one instruction with Brian Silverman, a Berklee graduate, professional guitarist, and author of An Essential Foundation for Guitar. Brian brings decades of performing, recording and teaching experience, including seven years touring with Jersey Boys and work as house guitarist for the Pageant of the Masters.

Lessons are customized to your goals, experience level and the music you want to play, from beginner through advanced. Study electric, acoustic or classical guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo or ukulele, along with sight-reading, chord charts, music theory, ear training, improvisation, songwriting, technique, rhythm, soloing and fretboard knowledge.

Brian combines traditional musicianship with practical systems, shortcuts and professional insight developed through decades of real-world playing. The goal is to identify what each student needs, remove unnecessary roadblocks and help them progress efficiently toward becoming confident, well-rounded musicians.
